I am fully qualified and a member of The Institute of Musical Instrument Technology (MIMIT), the professional body for the musical instrument trade.
I was born in Lytham St Annes where I have lived most of my life.
On leaving school I served a 3 year apprenticeship with the Church Organ building firm Jardine & Co. Ltd in Manchester & worked for them as Northern area tuner until starting a 3 year course in Musical instrument technology, specialising in Pianos at a college in London.
For over 40 years I have run my own business working in the Blackpool Fylde & Wyre area as a piano tuner, tuning for many local families, schools & concert pianists.
